Gega Efendija is an entrepreneur and cybersecurity professional focused on building cross-border ventures between Belgium and the Western Balkans. He began his career in Belgium at EY and later SWIFT, gaining experience in complex international environments and stakeholder ecosystems.
In 2021, he co-founded Pretera, a Brussels-headquartered cybersecurity firm with an operational base in Prishtina, delivering offensive security services such as penetration testing, red teaming, and social engineering for organizations internationally.
Gega holds academic qualifications in Criminology and International Relations from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the University of Antwerp, and he also supports business link-building across Albania, Belgium, and Kosovo.
He is Vice President of the EU–Belgian–Albanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUBACCI) and a Board Member at STIKK (Kosovo ICT Association).”
