Donjeta Sahatçiu leads 42 Tirana, the first gamified, teacher-less, peer-to-peer coding school in the Western Balkans, located inside the transformed Pyramid of Tirana. There, she is building a learning environment where young people don’t just study technology, but learn how to solve real problems, work in teams, and shape their own path.
With over 15 years of experience across tech, public office, and civic innovation, Donjeta has moved between sectors to turn ideas into systems that work for people. She previously served as Deputy Mayor of Prishtina, leading digital governance and citizen-focused initiatives, after a decade as a tech CEO and years chairing regional innovation and ICT boards.
Her work today is driven by a simple belief: innovation should create meaning, not just momentum. She focuses on responsible, human-centered approaches that connect talent, technology, and public purpose, and help young people build futures they believe in.
