Albana Laknori is the Secretary General of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She holds an MSc in Geological Sciences, a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and an MBA in Business and Intellectual Property Law. With 24 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property Rights, she has worked as a patent examiner and currently serves as a freelance expert advising on trademarks, patents, industrial designs, utility models, geographical indications, copyright, plagiarism, and anti-counterfeiting of goods and services. She is also an EU-authorized IP adviser supporting businesses, startups, women entrepreneurs, and SMEs in protecting, managing, and strategically leveraging their intellectual property assets. In addition, she lectures in Intellectual Property Law. Her extensive cross-sector expertise in innovation, legal protection, and ethical use of intellectual assets makes her a particularly strong speaker on Responsible Innovation.
