Boris Belortaja is a legal scholar specialized in EU (economic and fundamental rights) law. With an LL.M. degree in European and International Law from the Europa-Institut of the University of Saarland, and previous engagement as a research associate at the same institute, he is currently pursuing his Ph.D., researching digital constitutionalism and the reconciliation of substantive digital constitutional rights. He is also working as an assistant editor and legal reporter at EU Law Live, a specialized digital information platform that provides real-time news, expert analysis, and in-depth commentary on the most recent developments in EU law. His main areas of interest comprise European constitutional law, European economic law, and European and international protection of human rights.
